    Description

Small Cobalt Blue White & Gold RUSSIA TEAPOT - LOMONOSOV Imperial Porcelain
Small Cobalt Blue White & Gold RUSSIA TEAPOT - LOMONOSOV Imperial Porcelain
Cobalt Blue White & Gold RUSSIA TEAPOT -  LOMONOSOV Imperial Porcelain
The grid pattern is HAND PAINTED with accents in gold paint!  Note the flourishes on the handle and spout.
The pattern is known as TULIP COBALT NET.
This small teapot measures about 5 inches tall and almost 8 inches long from spout to handle.
A red initial mark, LFZ, of the LOMONOSOV factory is on the bottom, with the word RUSSIA in English (indicating this piece was made for export).
The Imperial Russian Lomonosov Porcelain Factory was founded in 1744 by Peter the Great's daughter, Empress Elizabeth, in Saint Petersburg. After years of development (to rival the Chinese porcelain makers), the Russian scientist Dmitry Vinogradov nailed down the secrets to manufacturing fine porcelain at Lomonosov.
    No cracks or chips.
