Description

Now you can create a reproduction of an antique original "Confiserie" French candy shop candy box with my latest kit. It includes everything you need to build the structure from foam core board plus all graphics on paper and cardstock shown even including the little candy boxes and candy counter displays. You must provide your own 8" doll, mini candies, 2mm ribbons and at your option some of the foam core board to cut following my instructions. Or you may purchase a separate precut kit for the remaining straight cuts not included within the project which does have 5 die cut pre papered odd shaped pieces. A bottle kit is also available. Separate auction also listed with all foam core pieces pre cut and with bottles.

Candy Shop PreCut Pieces Kit
I'm very excited to introduce my latest dollmaker's kit, a 12" high x 9-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" deep candy shop which opens up to reveal a candy box. I first saw this delightful "Confiserie" in Theriault's 2004 catalog "Bon Bons for the Bonnet Ladies of Tiffin". They note it was originally produced in 1885 in Paris, France. The original stands 17" and I have reduced the size of mine to fit an 8" fashion doll. My kit features 5 included die cut pieces of foam core board. They are the top back, counter, the right and left shelf fronts and the center arched piece over the doll alcove. These come pre covered in the shown paper. Here is a list of all that is included in this project plus extras that are available at your option.
The following is included in this project:
A complete supply list and instructions with 45 color photographic illustrations.
4 pages on cardstock and parchment from which to create all items.
4 different gold foil Dresden embossed borders to cover all edges of the Confiserie
13 different box graphics to crease, cut, fold and glue. I show 10 in my photos.
2 Counter top displays to hold 3 different candies each. Includes the see through acetate for the top.
Parchment printed 2 large images plus 62 candy bottle labels.
2 die cut gold foil motifs to glue above and below the doll alcove.
All paper shown to cover the entire candy shop sides, base, etc. with a complete cutting layout guide.
Complete measurements for all other parts/sides to cut from black foam core board - OR - I sell an optional kit with all these precut for you for plus shipping unless ordered with this kit.

Items you will need to provide to complete this project as shown:
A doll 7-1/2" to 8" high
Glass bottles available through me (shipped free when ordered with the rest of the project - or -  provide your own
Silk ribbon 2mm wide
4mm to 5mm glass beads for toppers for the little bottles
Fabric to make up the pattern for the doll's outfit
The candy to display in your bottles. You can make your own following instructions off YouTube on polymer clay candy making or use actual candy sprinkles and/or other tiny food stuffs or bathing salts and the like. At some point I hope to offer candy for sale as well.
